Keep A Child In School (KACIS) is a U.S. 501 (c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation with a mission to break the generational cycle of poverty by giving primary and secondary school education assistance to all under privileged children of Fiji Islands, South Pacific Islands and other under developed countries by providing: School Fees, School Books/Supplies, School Uniforms/Shoes, School Lunches, Solar reading lamps and School Bus Fares.

In Fiji islands each year approximately 79 percent of the children drop out of primary and secondary schools at the ages of 11 – 18 and another 20 percent who do not start school at all due to the level of poverty and the financial hardships faced by the families of school-age children. Uneducated Fijian children end up as child labor and poverty cycle continues to the next generation.

It is KACIS mission:  To lift these children with great potential out of a life of menial labor and poverty, due to no formal education opportunities or vocational education available to them to better their future and break the cycle of generational poverty set on their families and community.
